What you need:
Simply add milk and typical kitchen equipment (pot, colander, spoon, measuring cups and spoons). Follow the instructions and in one hour or less you will be eating and sharing homemade, all-natural cheeses! Pasteurized store-bought milk or raw farm-fresh milk both work - do not use ultra-pasteurized or UHT, ultra-heat pasteurized milk.
Dietary guidelines: This kit is gluten-free and vegetarian friendly.
Quantity: Kit makes 8 batches of cheese. A batch is about 1- 1.5 lbs (goat cheese makes 8 ounces because we start with half the milk). You'll have plenty of supplies to experiment with different herbs, shapes and recipes.
Shelf life: 1 year at room temp. with an additional 3 years when rennet tablets are stored in a freezer after purchase.
Food Safety and Allergens:
The kits and supplies are assembled in a fully-licensed facility that strictly follows the Department of Agriculture cleaning guidelines. The food items are all gluten-free but packaged in a room where wheat, soy, corn, nuts and other food allergens may be processed. Regulated deep cleanings occur in between products.
